Historiska museet

We just spent about 2 hours at the historical museum. The current displays were viking age, vikings in Åland, memento mori (remember death), medieval church art and medieval textiles. And guldrummet, a splendid display of gold jewelry, over 3000 artefacts that were discovered in the 19th century. Unfortunately photography was not allowed there, so I only have pics from the other displays. This museum is definitely worth a visit, and don't forget shopping at the museum shop! :-)
